Color Chart 1
Take each base color from its "out of the tube" color to off-white (just enough color added to white to know it is created from the base color) in 5 even steps.
CLASS NOTES: Week 2
Color Chart 2 - Predominant Yellow
The top row shows cadminum yellow light mixed with each of the other basic colors, while keeping yellow the predominant color in the mix.
The first column on the left is cadmium yellow light alone. Beginning with the second column to the left and continuing from left to right cadmium yellow light has been mixed with cadmium red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue, phthalo green, permanent green light, yellow ochre, indian red and raw umber.
Each vertical column shows the color mix at the top taken to off-white (just enough of the color mix added to white to know it is created from that color mix) at the bottom of the column in 5 even steps.
