welcome commissions to paint pet portraits. I''ve had animals all my life. I have 3 dogs and a cat currently and they're some of my best friends. I strive to paint them as individuals, not just members of a breed, and to present their individual personalities.
 
These portraits are just as important to me as those I do of humans. In addition to likeness, my concerns over composition, lighting, color and value are the same as in any painting...the final picture is only successful to me if it can be enjoyed on viewing it over and over again.
